7 Steps to Make Smokey Eye

7 Steps to Make Smokey Eye

Smokey Eyes have been a big style for quite a while and there's no sign this particular trend is passing away. Here we show you step-by-step guidelines on how to get the most ideal smokey eye. The key to the most ideal smokey eye is proper mixing. You want to create sure shades are combined together perfectly. Also, it's important to pair mild platform shades with rich dark shades. Awesome blends include: Soft silver platform with strong purple on top, sparkling wine platform with shiny red and apple platform with natural hue.

Difficulty: Average
Time Required: 10 minutes

Here's How:
1: Prep the lid. The key to maintaining eye shadow from reducing into your eye lid anti aging as the day goes on is to kept eye covers oil-free. To do this start with an eye shadow platform (also called "primer"). Simply run the for beginners across the eye and let it dry before you continue to the next phase.

2: Apply eye lining. If you're going for a common dark, brownish or greyish excellent smoky eye, implement lining in one of those shades above the upper eyelash range, illustrating range wider in the middle of eye. If you're selecting a jewel-toned eye (violet makes a stunning smokey eye), range eyes with a purple, red or strong natural lining.

3: Blend in color on base eyelash For color on the end (a key smokey eye look) you'll want to use a eye lining pen because they're easiest to smear. Once the range is attracted, run your finger over it to smear the range. You can also implement a bit of shadow to get full smear impact.

4: Apply mild platform color Again, the key to a smokey eye is coupling a less heavy platform with the deeper hue. I prefer an excellent cream color for my platform. Brush a mild, shiny shadow over the covers to your browbone.
The wet "mousse" reliability seems to remain on permanently. My favorite shades are myope and gem.

Make Smokey Eye5: Blend in deeper color, but keep dark color below the anti aging. Now that you have the platform and eye lining on, it's a chance to get the smokey impact. You need a deeper eye shadow color. Using an eye  shadow sweep combination in color starting at your eyelash range, mixing up. Ensure that to combination color into the eyelash range so the eye lining vanishes. Stop strong color at anti aging. The key here is to combination, combination, combination.

6: Doublecheck your work Ensure that eyes match and combination color.

7: Finish with several layers of mascara. You'll want to implement a few layers of mascara so eyelash are dense and dark. If you don't have naturally long, curled eyelash, snuggle them with a eyelash roller first.

Tips:
1.  Remember to keep lips naked. When applying strong cosmetics (like smokey eyes or red lips) put the focus on either eyes or lips  never both. (Think Angelina Jolie: She either performs up her large eyes or her large lips never both. If she did, she would look like a clown).
2.  For a bit of fun, try a red or purple mascara. It will create red eyes "pop."
3.  Liner doesn't have to come in pen form. Makeup experts know eyeshadows create some of the best eyeliners. To do this take an eye lining sweep (available at Sephora, MAC or any department store), wet it, then dab wet sweep into the dark shadow  This allows for an in-depth, accurate range. You can also use the dark dark areas without wetting sweep first. Either way, eye lining is necessary for excellent smoky eye.
4.  This season go jewel-toned (blue is excellent for you blue-eyed girls) and keep your eyes excellent smoky but keep away from dark brown colours and dark. Instead, go for an in-depth purple, a gold-brown or any of the many vivid shades in this year.
